Donate to the Healing and learning of Black Women/Woc

As we are witnessing currently in light of the Black Lives Matter issues and the current pandemic. Black people are often marginalized in society most areas listed by Maslow’s hierarchy of needs such as illness, poverty, racism and mental health significantly,

In response to the Governments paper Beyond the data: Understanding the impact of COVID-19 on BAME groups here it is stated that  “ the highest age-standardised diagnosis rates of COVID-19 per 100,000 population were in people of Black ethnic groups (486 in females and 649 in males) and the lowest were in people of White ethnic groups”  These figures along with side systemic racism and police brutality will have an even more detrimental impact our mental health for months and years to come and as there financially there are often limited funds available for a lot of women who fit this category I have decided to set up a fund for those who can support and create opportunities for members of these groups.
